1. Where should I put my contact details when writing a cover letter?
   
   At the top right hand corner of the letter.
2. What contact details should I include in the cover letter?
   
   You should include your name, full address including postcode and a contact telephone number.
3. How should I write the date on the cover letter?
   
   It is essential that you write the date out fully ie. 30th January 2007. Do not write it in a numerical format.
4. Who should I address the cover letter to?
   
   You must always ensure that you find out the person that is recruiting for the vacancy you are applying for and address it to them. This shows your professionalism and also ensures that your cover letter and CV reaches the right person and does not get lost.
5. How many paragraphs should I have in my cover letter?
   
   Ideally you should only have 3 paragraphs within your cover letter because you do not want the cover letter to look like a huge story, as this will discourage the employer from reading it.
6. How should I conclude the letter?
   
   If you have addressed the cover letter to a specific person then you must use Yours Sincerely, if not, then conclude with Yours Faithfully.
